Space Disco Track of the Day: Gay Cat Park - I'm A Vocoder (1982)

Far more post-disco than disco, but I love the Kraftwerk influences on this one. Plus the band name is hilarious.

According to Discogs, Gay Cat Park was a one-off project by Italians Davide Gatti and Luca Orioli. The latter was quite prolific in Italodisco circles and will likely be showing up here again.

Despite only having only released one song (though multiple versions of), Gay Cat Park also has a Last.fm page.

Something BIG is happening to GayCatPark!

... On September 12 2011, GayCatPark has signed a contract with the USA label "Medical Records" for the release of some 80s previously unreleased tracks on VINYLl!!!

We are already working with our friends from "Medical Records" to the FIRST GayCatPark LP (Log Playing - 33 rpm)!!!

The LP will contain at least 6 or 7 new tracks played by GayCatPark between 1982 and 1983!
